Robert Goldstein, early Juneau merchant. He arrived in Juneau in June, 1885, and opened a store "on the waterfront" on what is now South Franklin Street. In addition to his merchandising business, he had numbers of mining interests in and around Juneau. Goldstein died at Juneau, age 69.
Goldstein Gulch - on the headwaters of Grindstone Creek, eight miles southeast of Juneau. Probably named for Robert Goldstein.
