Georgia Ann Archuleta died Sept. 28, 2001, in Juneau.

Born Dec. 11, 1956, in Greeley, Colo., Archuleta lived in Juneau for the last three years of her life.

She is survived by husband Pete Archuleta and their son Jason of Juneau; father George Vigil; sisters Pamela, Melinda and Theresa; brother Scott; and many nephews and nieces. She will be remembered dearly as an excellent wife, mother and friend, her family wrote.

Memorial services will be held in New Mexico. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted in Archuleta's name to the American Cancer Society.
