Randolph G. Berry, 57, died July 8, 2001, in Austin, Texas.

Randolph was born on July 22, 1943, in Houston, Texas, to Evelyn Gates and Hiram Berry. He grew up in Amarillo, Texas, and was a graduate of the University of Texas and the University of Texas Law School. After leaving the Army, Randolph moved to Juneau where he lived for 16 years before returning to Austin.

Berry enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Pond Society.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert.

Berry is survived by his wife Kathleen Berry of Austin; daughter Robin Berry of Seattle; son Connor Berry of Texas; sister Jean Henry and husband Pat; aunt Genevieve Porter of Texas; niece Katie; and nephews Hiram and Chris.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on July 11 in the Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Chapel in Austin. A funeral service will immediately follow the reception.
