Obituary - Tom Dahl

Longtime Juneau resident Tom Dahl, 67, died March 30, 2006, as a result of a construction accident in Moss Point, Miss.

A United Methodist pastor, he had raised funds and organized a group of volunteers from United Methodist congregations in Southeast Alaska to assist residents of the rural Mississippi community. The group was working to help families repair and rebuild in the aftermath of last year's hurricanes.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Juneau. A full obituary will follow at a later date.
