Juneau resident Marie S. Devon, 85, died Feb. 15, 2007, at the Pioneers Home in Juneau.

Born April 12, 1921, in Papillion, Neb., she was a Juneau resident since May 14, 1943. She attended grade school and high school in Papillion. She was retired from the State of Alaska.

She was a member of the Juneau Pioneers, Juneau Chapter No. 7 OES and the Douglas Community United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, James L. Devon, of Douglas; daughters, Kathleen J. Devon, of Seattle, Wash., Michelle M. Devon, of Wasilla, and Shannon L. Devon, of Douglas; and son, Michael J. Devon, of Snohomish, Wash.; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday at the Juneau Pioneers Home.
