Obituary - Milton Thomas Fudge

THE JUNEAU EMPIRE

Juneau resident Milton Thomas Fudge died Feb. 4, 2007, at his home in Juneau after a battle with lung cancer. He was 64.

He was born in North Dakota to James and Ruth Fudge.

He graduated from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, Calif., with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He went on to become a certified public accountant. He worked in various accounting positions in Illinois, Oregon, Arizona and Alaska. Milton retired from the University of Alaska Southeast in Juneau, but also worked at the Ketchikan campus. He was a longtime resident of Juneau and loved hiking the trails in the area. He also loved woodworking, sailing, kayaking and more recently, RVing and bird watching.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Barbara Morales.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 20 years, Geri Fudge, of Juneau; daughters, Summer Hall, of Wasilla, Casey Fudge, of Juneau, and Suzanna Lessard, of Juneau; sons, Victor and Andrew Mulder, of Ketchikan; 12 grandchildren; a sister, Beverly Halverson, of Arizona; and a brother, Carl Mattingly, of Idaho.

No services are planned. Remembrance and memorials can be made in his name to an animal shelter or raptor center of your choice.
