Rose McConnellogue Grant, formerly of Juneau, died Dec. 27, 1997, at her home in Santa Rosa, Calif.

She was born July 28, 1939, in Letterkenny, Donegal, Ireland. She married John F. Grant in Ireland before moving to Juneau, where the couple's three sons were born. In 1987 the family moved from Juneau to Santa Rosa.

She is survived by her husband, John F., and sons John H., Henry, and Brian, all of Santa Rosa, as well as her brother-in-law Hugh Noel Grant of Juneau.

A vigil rite service was held Tuesday in Santa Rosa, with a funeral Mass to be held today, also in Santa Rosa.
