Charles Grohmann. On July 6 Charles Grohmann, 57, who came to the Territory in 1900 died at St. Ann's Hospital in Juneau.
Grohmann was born in Vienna, Austria, May 27, 1883. He came to Treadwell, on Douglas Island, in 1908 and then moved to Thane. He prospected and fished from 1920 to 1930 and from then on was employed as a stream guard for the Bureau of Fisheries.
