Matthew Wayne Hall died Oct. 10, 2001, in Juneau.

Born in Juneau on July 26, 1956, to Frank and Vona Hall, Matthew lived in Juneau all his life. He graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School and worked at Zales Jewelers and the Williams Service Station.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and traveling to the Interior with his family.

He is survived by his parents; sisters Susan Hall and Judy Hall; brothers Jeffrey Hall, Mallie Hall and his wife Joelle of Eagle River, and Glenn Hall and his wife Deborah of Holmes Beach, Fla.; nieces Kendra Freeman, Hilarie Jones, Michelle Hall and Ruth Hall; nephews Travis Jones, Brian Hall, Bo Hall, and Emmett Hall; and fiancee Philendia Jarrell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Michael and Gordon Taylor, Travis Jones and Rusty and Mike Williams.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Douglas Community United Methodist Church, 1106 Third St., Douglas. Donations may be made to the endowment fund of the Douglas Community United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 240509, Douglas, AK, 99824.
