Obituary - Agnes Parsons

Former Juneau resident Agnes "Peggy" Parsons died Dec. 2, 2001, in Mesquite, Texas. She was born in Illinois on May 22, 1934. She lived in Juneau from 1976 to 1987.

Family and friends remember her as being a kind and strong woman who was always first to offer a helping hand. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and experiencing new things.

She is survived by her son, Dean Stewart, his wife Brenda, her three children and his children Patrick and Rochelle, Little Elm, Texas; daughter Barbara Morgan, her husband Mike and their children Kourtnee and Seth, Mesquite, Texas; daughter Debi Lynch and her children Rob and Tracy, Ketchikan; and Kelly Parsons and her son, Chase, Juneau. She is also survived by one great-grandchild.

A service will be held in Parsons' memory at Faith Lutheran Church in Juneau, 7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 10. Her ashes will be buried with those of her second husband, Gene Richardson, in the hills above Lake Chelan, Wash. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
