THE JUNEAU EMPIRE
Andrew L. (Andy) Robinson died at his home on Fox Island, Wash., Dec. 17, 2000.
Robinson was born Dec. 8, 1914, in Greeley, Colo. He lived in Juneau with his wife Freida from 1945 to 1976. They owned and operated Robinson's Men's Wear until retirement in 1976, when they moved to Fox Island.
Robinson was a lifetime member of the Elks. He enjoyed traveling, gardening, sports and his dog, Meggie. His family wrote that he will be remembered as a very special husband, father, grandfather and friend. He and Frieda celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 19, 2000. He is survived by Frieda of Fox Island, Wash.; his son Charles and daughter-in-law Judy of Juneau; his son Freddie of Kihei, Hawaii; and grandsons Tom of Seattle and Mike of Juneau.
