THE JUNEAU EMPIRE
Lifelong resident Thomas Elbert Smalley Jr. died Feb. 4, 2007, in Juneau. He was 31.
He was born Dec. 17, 1975, in Juneau.
"Thom enjoyed being with his family. He was very close to his parents, and growing up he was inseparable from his younger sister, Monica," said Tina Jacobson.
"Thom was very proud of his son and looked forward to watching him grow up. The only son, Thom brought many years of smiles and laughs to his family and will be loved and missed very much."
He is survived by his parents, Mary and Thomas E. Smalley Sr., of Juneau; son, Thomas E. Smalley III, of Anchorage; sister, Tina Jacobsen and her husband, John, and their children, Dustin and Miranda Morris, of Keller, Texas; sister, Rose Earwood and her husband, Frank, and their children, Valerie Unger, Noah Earwood and Emelia Earwood; sister, Monica Whitehead and her husband, Lynn, and their children, Royce, Trenton and Kiel, of Juneau; two great nephews, of Anchorage; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A viewing for family and friends will be from 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 7 at the Alaskan Memorial Park, 3839 Riverside Drive. Private services for family will be on an undisclosed date.
