THE JUNEAU EMPIRE
Juneau resident Priscilla A. Suson died Dec. 15, 2001, at the Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
She was born Jan. 15, 1951, to Mr. and Mrs. Pablo Apla-on in Palawan, Philippines. She arrived in Juneau in November of 1996.
She was employed at the Valley branch of McDonald's, and at the sushi bar of Carrs. She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing bingo. Her family said that she touched everybody's heart and was generous to everyone who needed help.
She is survived by her husband Rosalito P. Suson; children Rosa and Mike James, Juneau, and Susan Suson, Rosalito Suson Jr., Mery Suson, Bobby Suson and April Suson, all of Cebu City, Philippines; grandchildren Anthony, Raymond and Patrick James in Juneau and 10 grandchildren in the Philippines; and a large extended family in Juneau and Anchorage.
Pallbearers are Mike James, Vic Alinson, Ben Suson, Rudy Suson Jr., J.J. Schmidt, Rumar Suson, Roger Arsua and Noel Algabre.
A viewing will be held at the Alaskan Mortuary in Juneau on Wednesday, Dec. 19 and Thursday, Dec. 20, from 6 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21.
